Using AGGRAND to Grow Bedding Plants

Apply AGGRAND Natural Organic Liquid Fertilizer 4-3-3 through a standard greenhouse injection system with every watering by using a very dilute solution. AGGRAND Natural Organic Liquid Fertilizer 4-3-3 dissolves easily into water and is filtered through #100 mesh so it can be added to the nurse tank and injected into the watering system without any added difficulty. It blends easily with other nutrients and pesticides. Conduct a jar test to make sure AGGRAND Natural Organic Liquid Fertilizer 4-3-3 is compatible with the other components before blending them in the tank.

The standard dilution ratio for system injection is 200:1 (water to fertilizer). Apply to the leaves and soil after the plants reach 2 to 3 true leaves. Decrease the ratio to 100:1 for more demanding plant types as the growth rate increases. To apply AGGRAND Natural Organic Liquid Fertilizer 4-3-3 at every watering, mix ½ to 1 ounce of fertilizer with one gallon of water and sprinkle the solution over the plants.

Foliar Applications

Apply AGGRAND Natural Organic Liquid Fertilizer 4-3-3 to the leaves of bedding plants to supply additional nutrients even when using standard greenhouse fertilization. Mix 1 to 3 ounces of AGGRAND Natural Organic Liquid Fertilizer 4-3-3 with one gallon of water and apply as a fine mist to the leaves. Apply enough solution to wet the leaves. Apply in 14 to 21 day intervals after the plants reach 2 to 3 true leaves. Adjust dilution rate and interval according to plant demands and growth rate.

Rates vary according to soil fertility and other inputs. Lower dilution rates are more effective than higher dilution rates. Two or three lighter applications can be more effective than one heavy application. If other constraints only allow one application then do not exceed a 4 percent dilution rate (4-gallons of AGGRAND to 100 gallons of water).

The addition of a biodegradable surfactant increases uptake by increasing adhesion to the leaf surface. Apply AGGRAND in the early morning or late evening. Do not apply before or after rainfall or irrigation. On standard field sprayers, use turbo flood jet nozzles when applying AGGRAND to reduce clogging.

To reduce susceptibility to attack of insect and disease causing organisms apply 1 to 2 quarts of AGGRAND 0-0-8 Natural Kelp and Sulfate of Potash when signs of infestation first become apparent. AGGRAND added to the spray tank reduces the pesticide needed to obtain effective control by 1/3 to ½. Some growers are finding that AGGRAND applications alone eliminate the need for pesticide applications applied in conjunction with pesticides.

Soil Applications:

AGGRAND Natural Organic Liquid Fertilizer 4-3-3 should be applied at 10 to 14 day intervals (apply more frequently when using soilless mixes). Mix 3 to 4 ounces of AGGRAND Natural Organic Liquid Fertilizer 4-3-3 with one gallon of water and apply enough to the soil to saturate the containers.
