USING AN ORTHO OR MIRACLE GROW SPRAYER TO APPLY AGGRAND ORGANIC NATURAL PRODUCTS

The first Item at hand is to filter the AGGRAND Natural Organic Liquid Fertilizer 4-3-3 through something like cheese-cloth or a paint filter. This will remove the particles which might clog an Ortho or Miracle Grow sprayer. Then, mix the filtered fertilizer, half water to half fertilizer in the sprayer. On Ortho Sprayer set the output rate to the 5 or 6 ounce per gallon setting. This will apply the fertilizer at 2.5 to 3 ounces per gallon (this application rate is different because it is mixed with half water) which is the rate for AGGRAND fertilizer application.

When spraying you can apply fairly quick, no need to stand around in one place for long. You only need a light application at this rate. It comes through pretty quick. Be careful on flowers and such that are a little more sensitive and respond differently to the smallest changes in fertilization. A little too much on the lawn won't hurt anything, but too much on flowers can Stunt them . Just apply a light application, a light application is better, than heavy all at once. Apply light applications on these flowers has to be done a little more frequently.

When you filter the fertilizer through the cheesecloth and all the liquid has passed through, all that is left is the larger, solid particles. If you have any of these you can just mix them into the ground soil.

USING OTHER SPRAYERS

All types of sprayers can be used to apply AGGRAND products also. Just make sure the sprayer has good agitation and adequate pressure. These are some examples: Backpack sprayers, trailers sprayers that you pull behind atv's, and on truck beds, etc. Any of these are excellent for applying AGGRAND. Just make sure to clean any filter screens often as for any organic fertilizers can begin to clog up these over time if not cleaned properly.
